A happy holistic history!
Happily healthily holistically founder Joanne Wilkinson completed her degree in complimentary health care in 2021. During her studies Joanne launched an online holistic health group to support people during the pandemic. The success of this portal led to appearances on local radio and features in newspapers and academic journals. Joanne is a degree level qualified masseuse and reflexology practitioner. Additionally Joanne studied reiki with the sui group and qualified as a reiki practitioner level 2 under the tuition of renowned reiki master Carla Carrington. The company Happily healthily holistically was launched in autumn 2021 and offered massage, reflexology and reiki treatments to clients within their own homes. Building on this success Joanne forged a working relationship with the owners of Wilderness woods in Sussex and began offering treatments from a repurposed shepherd's hut located in the woodland. In addition to mobile home visits and her wilderness woods residency, Joanne also operates from Oathall house in Haywards Heath and is the resident holistic therapist at Wonderland nature retreat in Henfield.
Therapeutic work for elderly clients and individuals with special needs will always remain an important part of our work. Happliy healthily holistically provides massage and reflexology therapists to a number of care homes across Sussex and also works with end of life clients. We provide home visits for a number of clients with cerebral palsy and other learning difficulties where bespoke massage treatments are administered particular to the clients needs.
Happily healthily holistically is now a well loved and established part of the “carry on campout” festival that takes place at the Ardingly show ground. Joanne operates the holistic health hub at the festival where in addition to massage treatments, visitors can take part in yoga and bellydancing classes or enjoy a session of Shakti dancing or a drum workshop. We continue to form alliances with a number of events organisers and have exciting plans to announce shortly for Summer 2024.
Our company has recently acquired rural property in the idyllic mountains of Cyprus, and plans are afoot to establish a holistic wellness centre and begin hosting ecstatic dance festivals.
Care will always be at the core of our company. As we have grown we have maintained our key principles in wanting to improve the health and wellbeing of the people around us.
